The Québec Dental Surgeons Association (ACDQ) groups together over 90% of all general dental practitioners in Québec. Together with its two subsidiaries, the Association protects the interests of members and provides the latter with a host of personal and professional benefits.

 

ACDQ/GTI Canada partnership

Our partnership dates back to 1998 when we commissioned GTI’s Business Solutions team to optimize our member management system, our aim being to:

  • Accelerate the compilation and monitoring of annual contributions; and,
  • Simplify the process of ongoing communications with members.

 

The team developed a database which allows us to input and update all relevant member information. The software, which totals contributions and issues receipts, includes forms requisition and voter registry modules. GTI also developed a parallel system which enables dentists across Québec to join the ACDQ Network. The latter electronically links dental offices and insurance companies.

GTI’s Business Solutions team has since regularly incorporated the latest technological advances with a view to enhancing overall system efficiency.

In 2001, ACDQ issued a request for proposals for the provision of IT infrastructure management services and user Help Desk technical support. GTI Canada was awarded the contract. GTI’s Facilities Management team continues to update and maintain the IT infrastructure developed for our association and its two subsidiaries. GTI ensures that system architecture is consistent at all times with the confidentiality needs of each member organization, while pooling e-mail and backup services. User technical support comes replete with a preventive morning watch which, as the name implies, checks the operating status of our systems and initiates action as required before users begin their workday.
