« The competition exists only if one chooses to follow the leader. » (Earl Nightingale, 1921-1989)
Intrigued by the world of business, Christian Coutu has devoted both university studies and proficiency training to his chosen field of endeavour.
He acquired the substance of his experience in the communications and marketing sectors of the service industry. Recognizing the pivotal role of information technology in business management, Christian actively involved himself in the implementation of an inaugural computer network at Montréal-based BDDS, a public relations firm.
Christian’s career path includes an impressive succession of positions in IT management. His outstanding managerial skills, his talent as a logistician, his ability to see the overall picture and his eye for detail quickly attracted the attention of innovative, service-oriented advertising firms such as Marketel and Saint-Jacques Vallée Young & Rubicam.
In 1999, Christian joined forces with IT specialist and entrepreneur Andrée Blais, and went into business for himself. The two partners shared an understanding of the importance of IT for business growth and their complementarity quickly enabled GTI Canada to become a leader in a burgeoning sector of industry.
Creative, rigorous and keen on putting IT to work for other entrepreneurs like them, Christian and Andrée continue to ensure sustained growth for GTI Canada, now celebrating twenty years in business. Backed by solid management experience, Christian is intent upon continuing to offer innovative, cutting edge solutions to an ever growing, ever more diversified client base.
We at GTI Canada consider IT, first and foremost, as a tool designed to enhance cost‑effectiveness and not as an end unto itself.
