Millions of visitors from around the World are living a memorable experience in the heart of Montreal. As a digital agency, we have been having the chance to share this wonderful adventure with the Just For Laughs Group for over 5 years now.
Here is half a decade of amazing projects all more interesting than the others.
2014 – What a Start!
The Just For Laughs Group’s main website was one of the cornerstones of the company’s marketing efforts. Prior to the summer launch of the Just For Laughs Festival — 2014 edition — and having just completed a major redesign of the website the year before, the heads of hahaha.com wanted to find a trustworthy partner who could work with them to strategically optimize their online sales and also configure a robust hosting environment adapted to their specific needs.
2015 – Keep up the good work!
In preparation for the 2015 Festival, the Just For Laughs Group strengthed its partnership with GTI, formerly MultipleMedia, to redesign sections of hahaha.com to increase online sales and to better structure the vast array of content found on its website. The project brings together five major developments, accomplished in record time!
In order to make the Just for Laughs Group’s sales reports easier, GTI conceived and developed a complete dashboard (Data visualization). On one hand, it automates sales data integration from different sources. On the other, it configures a flexible system to create interactive reports. This project is a real business intelligence model benefiting the Just for Laughs Group!
2015 was marked by the implementation of numerous initiatives by GTI for the Just for Laughs Group, strengthening the presence of hahaha.com in the field of comedy.
2016 – Switch to higher speed.
In 2016, Just for Laughs was trying something new! The Festival has such an impressive story. GTI took on the mission to make it shine through a new highly innovative digital presence!
GTI aimed to stimulate online sales by offering an immersive user experience and an adjusted offer. Mission accomplished for the digital agency that created a living and unified universe around each show in the Just for Laughs Festival.
The Just For Laughs Group has recently acquired a new digital platform for its corporate customers. An end to content living in the Festival’s shadow!
According to the analysis of the 2015 navigation data, 97% of hahaha.com visits led to the Festival pages against a thin 3% to corporate sections. To provide them a premium showcase, GTI designed a website to separate their content from the masses: justforlaughs.com!
2017 – Cruising Altitude.
The comedy machine doesn’t stop once the Festival is over; it’s time for some homework with a post-mortem worthy of its name! Our two teams have therefore given themselves the goal of gathering comments and suggestions, both internally and externally, to take the user experience up a notch.
2018 – Mobility and Accessibility, Two Key Ingredients.
The latest creation of our web agency! A mobile application for the Just For Laughs Festival, realized as part of our partnership with the Group. Our expertise in event technology is growing every year. The transformations in the event and festival industry are supported by our innovations in terms of digital solutions and web tools. Geolocation, gamification of the user experience and other interactive features are today at the heart of our developments.
