The Lenovo Accelerate Show: what we took away

Now that the Lenovo Accelerate Show is over, we are taking stock of our partner’s products. It is a chance to show you what is new at Lenovo and also the flagship products our customers have validated.

What is new at Lenovo

The notable new Lenovo products presented to us are:

Fine products from our computer hardware partner.

The flagship products among our customers

Laptops

On our side we see real popularity for specific models. Among laptops, the star products are these:

  • The E480, an entry-level computer that performs very well at an unbeatable price-to-quality ratio.
  • The L380, a mid-range computer that also wins over its professional audience.
  • The T480, the star product among our customers. A high-end computer that can be upgraded. The T480s version is thinner still.
  • The X1 Carbon 6th generation: a genuine luxury product

Convertible laptops

The X380 Yoga is a good product. When mobility is one of the important selection criteria, we recommend it without hesitation.

Desktop PCs

Desktop PCs fall into several categories, depending on what the user needs. There are big tower PCs, SFF models and finally the Tinys.

The large majority of our customers have administrative computing needs. So we recommend buying a Tiny desktop PC. In that category, the most widespread Lenovo product is the M710Q model.

As the name says, the Tinys are small, quiet models that carry Intel’s new 8th generation processors. They let the user multitask smoothly.

Servers

Lenovo’s purchase of an IBM unit made it possible to replace the System X line with SR530, SR630 and SR950 type servers.

Server-matched storage and the new SANs are good products as well.

Finally, we are looking forward to testing the new Lenovo Z5 mobile phone and its 18 patented technologies! The product will be unveiled on June 5. More to come!

Our procurement team knows these products inside out and will be glad to help you choose work tools that fit your needs!
