Transit: A new collaboration for GTI
Leader in the manufacturing of truck bodies in Canada, Transit mandated GTI to conduct an assessment of their needs and IT infrastructure. For a growing company like theirs, conducting an audit became a priority to optimize the planning of its resources and maintain its competitive edge from a technological point of view.
Review and documentation of the IT infrastructure
In the first phase of the audit, the GTI team focused on the topology and network infrastructure, physical environment, inventory and the company's technology partners. The process also included interviews with officials of the company. This approach, part of the GTI process, yielded an accurate picture of the company’s reality, its stakeholders, and facilities, while creating a solid foundation for the continuity of the mandate.Analysis and recommendations for Transit
In conclusion of the audit, GTI has conveyed the results of its analysis to allow the customer to clarify the status of its IT infrastructure, identifying priority items according to their business issues. This operation also included the development of a prioritized budget so the Transit management team can make a fully informed decision on the investment required in terms of manpower, equipment and software to achieve their IT goals.Two new mandates
Following the audit, Transit entrusted GTI by outsourcing the management of their IT assets, comprising 78 workstations and servers, and granting the mandate to upgrade their IT infrastructure, following the recommendations proposed by our experts.The GTI team is proud to have Transit as a new partner.
