Dealing with aging facilities, Bell needed an upgrade of its servers in order to optimize its IT infrastructure. The virtualization appears as a good solution.

Solution

Our Managed IT Services specialists upgraded their IBM Blade Center by adding:

• Two new blade servers,
• While virtualizing the organization’s last two physical servers (billing and terminal).

They also :

• Increased the SAN storage network’s capacity,
• Replaced their tape backup solution with a VEEAM image server backup for faster recovery in case of failure.

Results
