33% of IT decision-makers see cybersecurity as the primary concern, while 34% of non-IT leaders focus more on modernizing solutions.
This gap highlights a critical need: aligning IT leadership with other departments to avoid unbalanced decisions between innovation and protection.

AI Leads the Way in Investment

For the first time, AI is the top investment priority in Canada.

30% of companies plan to invest in AI over the next two years—surpassing cloud computing (29%) and security solutions (23%).
In the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors, that number jumps to 92%.
Main objectives: boosting productivity (53%) and cutting costs (41%).

Globally, AI investment is projected to rise from USD 120 billion in 2023 to USD 900 billion by 2027.
