Wearing Hope: Why GTI Supports the Kiwanis Club’s Habillement K Campaign

In the fall, when the air turns colder, our focus shifts to a cause that is especially close to our hearts: ensuring every child in our community can face the winter safely.

At GTI, innovation goes beyond our solutions and services. It extends to our commitment to the communities where we live and work. That’s why we’re proud to renew, for the fifth consecutive year, our support for the Kiwanis International Habillement K campaign.

More Than a Coat: A Chance to Succeed

The mission of Habillement K is simple but vital: to provide new, warm winter clothing (coats, boots, hats, and mittens) to children from underprivileged families.

Why is this so important to GTI?

1. Health and Safety: Winter temperatures can be dangerous. Proper clothing is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. By eliminating the risk of hypothermia or cold-related illness, we help protect the health of these children.
2. Confidence and Dignity: It’s proven that having proper, new clothing has a direct impact on a child’s self-esteem. It reduces social stigma and allows kids to focus on what really matters: learning and play.
3. School Attendance: A child who isn’t cold is more likely to attend school. By contributing to Habillement K, GTI is directly investing in education and the future of the next generation.

Our support for the Kiwanis Club is long-term, because we know this organization is dedicated to making the world a better place—one child at a time.

Their efficiency and strong local network allow us to directly transform our contributions into warmth and comfort for those who need it most. Thanks to this shared effort, between 500 and 700 children will receive full winter gear, giving them an equal chance to thrive.
