MultipleMedia furthers its partnership with the Port of Montreal

MultipleMedia’s ongoing partnership with the Port of Montreal continues to bear fruit. In 2013, the Port of Montreal garnered two awards from the Communications Awards Program presented by the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) for its digital communications.

In 2014, MultipleMedia forged ahead with four new projects, most notably for the the Port of Montreal’s website homepage. Since the former homepage didn’t reflect the Port’s new focus on communications, MultipleMedia was asked to create an online space true to the new vision. The homepage now gives increased visibility to informative content such as general Port news, operations schedules, and promotions, providing site users with targeted, relevant information at first glance.

The results? As one can see at www.port-montreal.com, the homepage remains simple and uncluttered, while delivering twice as much information as before!

Not only have the Port Authority’s communication efforts been reinvigorated, but content management has been simplified and new performance indicators have been established. Indeed, in updating the CMS templates, MultipleMedia was able to optimize the maintenance of several pages on the mobile site as well as the process for populating the site with the Port’s most recent economic statistics. And thanks to the creation of a dashboard, site managers can analyze website traffic and evaluate the performance of their digital marketing initiatives.
