In order to optimize their technological resources, Les Fourgons Transit has mandated GTI for and assessment of their IT infrastructure. The analysis began with an observation phase during which our team met with the company's executives and IT manager to:

• Understand their business processes,
• Target their key issues,
• Get an accurate idea of the solutions and equipment in place and the planned and ongoing projects.

Solution

Our Managed IT Services expert’s then conducted a detailed technical analysis of the situation that identified the strengths and weaknesses of the infrastructure as well as improvement opportunities. Divided into 3 categories:

• Functional impact,
• Risk,
• Optimization potential.

The weaknesses discovered were accompanied by recommendations, which were then synthesized in the form of infrastructure upgrading projects, prioritized in three phases of implementation.

Results

To conclude the process a complete analysis report was produced and presented to the client. The documentation, part of any GTI audit, includes:

• A narrative report,
• Conclusions,
• IT investment plan,
• Network diagrams,
• Inventory.

At the end of the process, decision-makers thus have all the required tools and a clear, pragmatic and quantified plan to facilitate strategic decisions regarding their IT infrastructure.
